We have issued 2-nd version of our excel calculation sheet for vehicle builders.

The sheet features:

  • database of a number of host vehicles;
  • custom host vehicle can be defined by user;
  • you can define your loads at specific positions on the vehicle;
  • you'll get calculated a center of gravity position and resultant load on front and rear axle;
  • warnings appears if the max allowed load is exceeded for the selected host vehicle.

  • to calculate stresses in the telescopic arm sections,
  • to calculate vertical load and tilting moment on the column rotating drive,
  • to select the proper column rotating drive for your machine,
  • you can automatically find a selection from TECMA slewing drives and bearings.

How this tool work?

  1. You need to type in you values of tilting moment and Bearing vertical load
  2. Program shows you recommendations of bearings highlighted as GREEN. The bearings highlighted YELLOW are still meeting the strength requirements but with poor safety margin. The selections highlighted RED are overloaded and the GRAY ones are oversized.
  3. When you click any cell of the bearing row, you will see its load on the bearing load diagram.
  4. You can use the free version of the selection tool without time limitations but the new data saving time is limited. When the free trial version expires, you need to download it again from INBIURO website.
